Updates to GBLCG.com’s LikeList Page are automatically forwarded to Facebook where they appear as Wall Posts. Wall Posts only appear on the Facebook Wall of the person who published a new entry on the LikeList Page.
In many respects, the GBLCG.com LikeList Page acts and behaves like Facebook. Posts can be uploaded by anyone, which others can comment on and ‘Like’. Both comments and ‘Like’ notifications are posted immediately on Facebook, enticing other Friends to respond to a LikeList entry. This allows the person who published a LikeList Page post to continue separate conversations on the post – one at Facebook and one on the LikeList Page.

Essentially, the GBLCG.com LikeList Page offers our Friends to expand their Facebook Networks quicker than they normally could by introducing outside-network audiences to their posts. The LikeList Page has its own audience – network – just like any other Facebook Fan Page.
Whereas most Fan Pages are topic-specific their audiences typically share strong common interests our GBLCG.com LikeList Page doesn’t limit Friends to adhere to specific topics when they wish to upload new content. At first, the Network Building philosophy of our GBLCG.com LikeList Page seems completely similar to how Facebook works anyway. In that respect, our LikeList Page doesn’t bring anything new to the equation.
What our Friend consider different is an additional ‘fun factor’ which has already prompted them to upload a variety of posts – from YouTube clips to more serious videos.
We consider that ‘fun factor’ an important driver for our LikeList Page. Obviously, its chief purpose is to receive more ‘Likes’ for our GBLCG.com Fan Page (The Page Like button that’s positioned on top of the LikeList Page is linked to the ‘Like’ button on our Fan Page). If we can receive more ‘Likes’ though having a bit of fun with our Friends, all the better.
