• Launching the GBLCG.com Forum Moderator Contest

For long I believed in the concept of Open Source – the power of like-minded and same-focus communities to create and develop ‘New’.

Partially, it was this belief that drove me to establish GBLCG.com as a platform where a global community could ideate not just new futures but better ones.

Now that GBLCG.com has reached a level of technical maturity it’s time for me to put my thoughts into action. And I am going to be bold about it…

I am going to give three people the opportunity to host their ‘own’ forum spaces here at GBLCG.com – for free.

To me, that’s a bit like giving your first-born away. I’ll be taking a huge leap of faith in three persons who I believe have what it take to move GBLCG.com forward. As such, I will carefully select those three, although I have only vague ideas at this stage on how to do this.

I envisage that candidates must post their ideas on the topic(s) they want to run in their GBLCG.com forum space. Winners will be chosen based on the number of ‘Likes’ they received, the number of page views they generated and based on my own verdict.

What will winners receive in return?

One forum space where they can amass audiences that are interested in discussing ideas and suggestions that are relevant to the winner’s business or professional interests. Within reason, winners can use their forum spaces to promote their subject matter expertise, their services and products.

Essentially, winners can use their GBLCG.com forum spaces to build and develop their own online business at no cost at all. And that’s just for their forum spaces.

Additionally, we will help winners to leverage the powers of at least three other GBLCG.com sections and give them, for free, our own GBLCG.com iPhone or Android app to manage their forums on the go.

On top of that I’ll work with winners personally to help them gain speed in how to put GBLCG.com to work for them.

      Short- and Long-Terms Payback

In terms of exposure and as GBLCG.com continues to grow, mature and expand, pay-offs will only increase. By approximation, GBLCG.com’s traffic already increases by about 8 percent monthly, despite its still meagre volume of content and membership to our GBLCG.com Innovation Group increases by fifteen people weekly; a number that continues to grow steadily.

These two statistics are the result of us working tirelessly to improve GBLCG.com technically and to populate it with reader-relevant and original content. A breath taking array of tools, applications and software stands at our disposal to drive these figures considerably upwards. We automatically put that arsenal to work for winners.

How To Win A GBLCG.com Forum

If you want to grab the opportunity to win that forum do this now:
      1. If you aren’t already a member of our Facebook GBLCG.com Innovation Group go there now and ask to join.
      2. If you haven’t already ‘Liked’ our Facebook GBLCG.com Fan Page go there now and click ‘Like’.
      3. If you haven’t already, register for your free-of-charge GBLCG.com memberships account by following the instructions on our Registration Page.
By applying these three criteria candidates you’ll be able to read my posts on this idea in my GBLCG.com Forum Moderator Contest forum to learn how I plan to select the three lucky winners on September 30, 2011.

[Note that you must be registered to view and contribute to this forum.]

As said previously, although it feels a little like handing-over one of my three beautiful children I am, beneath all, wildly excited about working closely with three dedicated, forward-thinking and creative people by October this year.

I am sure this foresight will occupy a large part of my thinking throughout this month…
Thanks for reading this, look forward to see you join us and stay well…
