Currently, the jury is still out on whether we should still take that step. Proponents among us say that this will increase our ability to amass membership for GBLCG.com, whereas opponents feel that opening and managing group discussions at LinkedIn may detract us from managing debates held here at GBLCG.com, which is one of our prime objectives.Meanwhile, we established individual accounts to monitor discussions and debates held among LinkedIn members in other groups. This enabled us to identify what was on LinkedIn member’s minds, which problems, challenges and issues they tried to tackle, and how members connected to each other.
Interestingly, we learnt from LinkedIn what we didn’t want to be – how we, as a community – wanted to remain different. Now, we have very clear and shared views on this.
LinkedIn also enables us to keep track of what’s going on in this job search and recruitment network. As with our BranchOut and BeKnown presence, we aim to leverage LinkedIn network’s membership to accelerate the development of new connections with other LinkedIn account holders.
As LinkedIn allows us to view the resume’s of other members the application helps us to find and select high-quality membership for GBLCG.com.
