What makes a person an Exceptional Entrepreneur?

What Are The Secrets of Outstanding Entrepreneurs? What are the attributes you must have to become an Exceptional Business Person? We want to learn your views, opinions and ideas. If you think you have truly original things to say about this and don't shy from a bit of debating - join the discussion!

I published this question on our GBLCG.com Facebook Page to invite original thinkers to join the discussion...

Beware that as this write this, this would be one of the first discussions held here at GBLCG.com much co-initiated by Paul Inglis so things may still look a bit rough and untidy here.

Also many thanks also to Rebekah Poh-Seragih for being the first one to respond to my post at our page.

May many followers follow the discussion!

Oh, before I forget, considering that I am currently working 24/7 to get GBLCG.com properly furnished and matured: If you have any issues, questions or ideas on how to improve things here please post them here. I'll pick your input and feeback up soon.

Cheers for being here! Hail to you for becoming part of the GBLCG.com journey...

(Also: when you read this, don't forget to 'friend' Paul and Rebekah on Facebook for their efforts. Believe me, they're worth it...)

Finally: If you want to add your ideas, suggestions and feedback to what's posted below, simply enter your feedback in the Quick Response box below - then press 'Submit'. I'll be working on more specific guidance on how to publish threads and posts here.

    Facebook thread for Exceptional Entrepreneurs

Rebekah Poh-Seragih Perseverance to see your vision become real and humility to learn what it takes to bring the business up and running. None of us is perfect and in an entreprenuership, sometimes we need to dirty our own hands just to get things up and running. My favourite is ASK when i don't understand and having strangers in the Net who freely lend a helping hand and advice are awesome! And remembering to say 'thank you' and appreciative makes one an attractive person to interact with and do business with too. :-) These are my takes.

GBLCG.com Awesome Rebekah. That's the stuff I'd like to learn about. If it's ok with you I'll get back to you with an idea....

''-Paul Inglis'' I agree with everything Rebekah says. There are many facets towards becoming an outstanding entrepreneur. Because not only is an outstanding entrepreneur a "people person" with great communication skills and, also as Rebakah has already said, good manners, entrepreneurs are also very aware of their vision and timeline.

Wishes are weak, and drive/dreams is/are powerful. So motivation fed by wishes are very temporary (weak), whereas motivation fed by someones dream (drive + passion) is constantly being fed - because motivation alone is only temporary.

Having a plan to action is vital to stay on track, however, being a little flexible in one's plan is also important. Many potentially outstanding entrepreneurs would be far better off not being perfectionists as when "sweating the small stuff" will quickly turn in analysis paralysis and end up getting very little to nothing accomplished.

GBLCG.com That's pretty kick-arse Paul! I like what I see - like what you are saying! Paul - I am working 24/7 to finalise a site called GBLCG.com. I just published a blurb on who I am here GBLCG.com - Raymond den Otter and am now working on establishing a number of forums on topics such as this. To protect future discussion-participant's personal information I require them to register for a free-of-charge account, which doesn't involve sales, affiliate programmes or - in fact - any commercial strings attached. In short: It's to keep bullshit artists and ill-intent out of what I am trying to put together. Could you do me a HUGE favour - if you're up for it only that is - and go here to set up your collaboration account here: Register at GBLCG.com I'd love to get your post published in the forum I'll establish tonight. Thanks for responding mate - outstanding! Very grateful...

''-Paul Inglis'' From Christchurch brothah. Bring on the controversy; am always keen to learn something new (but also staunch in what I already know)
Have written my first post in your forum - will add some content tomorrow; including the above post you like. Cheers man! ^^

Rebekah Poh-Seragih Great insights, Paul! I love all these open discussions and having to share our own perspectives without getting into any uglies as I have seen in others. And Raymond love to hear your idea... :-)
